"Nurse Jo is amazing. The results from the treatments she has recommended to me are significant and I am delighted."
Dermal filler treatments are recognised as a fantastic rejuvenating cosmetic procedure.
Most dermal fillers in the UK contains a natural substance called hyaluronic acid, and the dermal fillers are injected into facial areas in order to achieve a firmer appearance, add volume or enhance the definition and structure. Additionally, dermal fillers can also be used to increase the volume in areas of the body such as the lips, leading to a much fuller and defined appearance.
Due to the nature of dermal fillers, they are a popular treatment to immediately observe results and achieve an immediate impact. They are also a great option to use when wanting to alter the face due to their semi-permanent nature. As a result of this, the increased volume or altered shape is not permanent and can therefore be changed and revisited.
At NEO Health Clinic we offer a variety of different areas of dermal filler treatment:
Dermal fillers are a wonderful rejuvinating treatment if you are looking to enhance or restore facial features – including cheek, bones, lips, chin, jaw line, under eye lines – to create a more youthful appearance.
After a consultation with one of our NEO Health Clinic nurse practitioners, a plan will be determined depending upon your requirements. At the time of your appoint, please attend with no cream or makeup on the face. Your face will be cleaned with antiseptic solution and a planned filler will then be injected into the desired area that needs to be treated. Depending on your desired outcome, multiple injections are likely to be needed in different areas of the face to ensure symmetry. Following dermal filler treatment it is advisable to avoid using make-up and other skin creams for at least 12 hours and you will be able to recommence your normal skin care regime the day after treatment.
Dermal fillers are temporary and therefore it is important to have them maintained in order to sustain the results. Usually the effects of a dermal filler treatment lasts between 3 to 12 months, and this can vary between each individual and type of filler used.
