Procedure Overview
Profhilo is a stabile compound that lasts for approximately 28 days in the skin. However, the hydrating effects of Profhilo can be seen over the course of a few months as the hyaluronic acid progressively draws water molecules to the skin. During that time, it has a significant impact on the tone, texture and hydration of the face.
For best results, we recommend a treatment series of three procedures, spaced four weeks apart. Top-up sessions approximately twice a year following this will help maintain results. During the two-week window following Profhilo treatment, we do not recommend any other filler or rejuvenating procedures. This allows Profhilo to be sufficiently dispersed and for maximal results to seen.
The safety profile of Profhilo has been well-researched since its FDA approval in 2015. The substance administered is simply a pure, high concentration of the natural substance hyaluronic acid and contains no additional additives or stabilizers. This reduces the risk of allergic reactions or side effects and it will simply be broken down by the body over time.
