With minimal pain, the PicoSure laser emits ultra-short pulses of light to the treated area which is absorbed by the skin. The energy created is converted into mechanical stress that causes the pigmentation area to break up into tiny particles. The initial stage is an in-depth consultation with your NEO Health Clinic nurse practitioner. They will explore your current skin care regime, lifestyle habits, previous treatments as well as your skin care concerns and goals. After analysing your skin and reviewing all the information provided, a bespoke treatment plan and product regime will be suggested to help ascertain your skin care goals.

Before the treatment commences, the PicoSure laser is adjusted according to the skin concern of the patient, The practitioner will cleanse the area of the skin that will be treated with a compresses and a disinfecting lotion. The tip of the PicoSure laser is then pointed at the skin surface, and pulses of light are emitted to the areas of concern.

Treatment Results

Results from the PicoSure laser treatment is dependent on your skin type and the concerns that are being addressed. Some people choose to have a single treatments, while others opt for treatment courses that will lead to longer results.
